C.H. Theron is a trained lawyer who was born and raised in South Africa. Multiple international moves proved that a legal career was difficult to maintain, and she rekindled her childhood passion for writing. She is deeply interested in the histories of First Nations around the world, and the protection of all cultural heritage.

When she discovered the Chumash people of Southern California, it sparked a desire to tell the story of the horrors that befell this highly evolved society during the Mission period of the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. The Tribes of Chelsea is her debut novel.
